Today in this post I will tell you how you can enabled HTTPS in Twitter for more security. Like in Gmail and Facebook, Twitter also introduced a new option in settings page by which you can enable to always use HTTPS mode instead of HTTP mode. HTTPS helps you to protect data from being snooped by third parties, such as public computer, wifi, etc
To enable HTTPS in twitter
- Go to Twitter.com
- Login to your account
- Click on your Username (top-right corner)
- Select Settings
- Now scroll down to bottom of the page
- Select Always use HTTPS. check box
- Click on Save button
The time you login to your account from Twitter.com or when you use Twitter’s official mobile application for iPhone or iPad by default Twitter will open it in HTTPS mode.
